It is much better for your oral health to have properly spaced out meals rather than frequent snacks. Finish with fresh fruit and water.
Swish and swirling with plain water is beneficial. I recommend a first brush without toothpaste for better plaque control, to take advantage of the antibacterial benefits of saliva. Do a second brushing with a minimal amount of fluoridated toothpaste and rinse once only.
We cannot always maintain perfect dental habits, but try your best to floss then brush as soon as possible after meals.
